Hi all,
New to this site so hope you can help.
Been looking for a jacket for the fiancee but they all seem to have 'barbie' style rhinestones, guitars, birds or other seemingly worthless designs.Just want a good technical warm jacket without stupid fluffy pink stuff. Why do the major manufactures assume all females like this stuff?? Why do they not just make one range for male and female in all sizes?? Have tried the rip curl mosh pit jacket but it doesn't seem to have room to accomodate ski pants (very strange).
Anyway, enough of me ranting,Does any one know of such a jacket or website where such an item can be purchased?

Bri,
Have you tried tog24?
They seem to have upped their range and quality this year.
Might be worth a look.
Berghaus aren't 'girly' either.

try no fear. If you go to sport world or their website. You can get a black one for 41 quid, down from 140. They are waterproof and have plenty of good features built in. Just got myself a mans version, and i'm well chuffed. Ski pass holder on arm, hood and stowaway balaclava, phone pocket, powder skirt, sunglass holder, loads of pockets, vents etc. That's if you don't mind last years line.

Thanks all
Went for a north face baffin jacket in the end. Just the right weight and plenty of technical features without all the useless decoration. Very pleased and would recomend it.Great price from the outdoorshop.com.
Thanks again

My Mrs bought a lovely green Bonfire jacket to ski in. Nice short cut with big buttons on the front and breast pocket styling.
£125 wasnt bad either.
I would have a scan through the Ellis Brigham catalogue if I were you.
