Wrong. Selva or Cervinia or the Hof depending on what can be done with time off from work.

Not excited anymore :( back now after hours of delays at Geneva but had a great time, was really cold out there -30 WC. luckily saw the womens down hill and Lindsey Vonn winning in Val which was a first for me. Met some great people too.

Interestingly I was faced with a 40MPH blizzard at the top of the Palafour and could not see the person in front of you after getting off the lift. imagine 20 or so people digging in with ski's and poles all kneeling so they don't get blown off the top. Never experienced that before, was a little scary !!!

Have fun all of you and have a super Christmas and a fab ski break !

Now need time to plan another trip...........my knees ache...

Only 3 more sleeps :mrgreen:!! The theory is to drive down to Ashford on Wednesday, overnight in the Travel Lodge, then an early ferry from Dover to Calais on Thursday & a day of driving to St. Gervais. Given the current travel situation, the reality might be somewhat different :(

Glad you had a blast Tony. I have experienced that image you painted at the top of the Plorel in Serre Che on Easter Sunday this year, total carnage! I have no idea how Mrs H and I skied off that side, but we did!
