We need more however, please join us, pleadge your support before the event, including where you will be doing your snow dance.
OK then
When - Saturday 12 Feb as close to 12 noon as you can manage.
Where - Wherever you are, preferable outside.
Orientation - Facing the alps
Style - Optional but should feature firmly planted feet a litle over shoulder width apart. That way we are all linked thus multipling the effect.
Dress - Optional, however full ski/board gear would be good.
Now I'm a bit concerned about the YMCA being performed as a snow dance, I fear the snow gods may think you're taking the wee wee and make it rain as a consequence. On your head be it.
Also I'm not happy about firearms being employed to enduce snowfall, I don't understand how this can be focussed on the Alps? I fear it might bring about a huge dump but on England closing the airports. In fact you didn't use a firearm last January did you AllyG?

It's a line I remember from the Liverbirds
Being old you remember it too? I was VERY young when the show was on
(I'm not going skiing this season, so doing it for solidarity)

Andyhull,
How about, we reach a compromise? I'll wait for you all do a snowdance on Saturday and if there's no snow in Courchevel by Wednesday I get to use my shotgun
I've done my research so I know who to shoot at. It's Ullr, the Viking snow god, who's depicted on skis firing a bow and arrow in the 11th Century on a rock - I must say I didn't know the gods were ski-ing in the 11th Century
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ullr
And as for making sure the snow falls in the right place, I guess it's just like water/electricity divining - you form a picture of what you want in your mind and concentrate really hard.
Trust me - we farmers know how to control the weather - you have to take a very firm line with it
I mean look at all that snow I got in Tignes in October - a whole foot of the stuff :D

Have faith Brooksy !! It is the essence of the snow that is needed. Think hard about the steep and deep in France as you bake in your ski gear dancing on the beach.
