I blame Mrs H not my son as she does the washing!!!!

The story about the shed sounds interesting....let me guess - took her passport out as ID, got in too late and slept in the shed and left her passport in the shed?

A lad who used to play football for me did that once, but he got cold so he turned on a blow torch which was fine until the roof caught fire!!!

I get warnings every day 'empty your pockets before you bring the washing down'. I have had numerous wallets/phones/amounts of money washed, I just never learn

Now where's my passport...

Well, a late night and alcohol did have some bearing on it but not how you described. Our son had been finished with very suddenly by his girlfriend of several years so we packed him off to our daughter to have a sisterly talking to followed by a marathon session in the local hostelries with our son-in-law. The following morning they discovered that their house move was to take place that day instead of the day after - chaos! Our son and son-in-law were not very much help and simply threw things in boxes. So, many weeks later they were due to come skiing with us, I did the usual mum thing of making sure everyone had their passports, health cards, etc. After turning their new house upside down, they eventually looked in the shed! At least it did turn up and no roofs were damaged in the process. I did warn you not to ask!!!
