Think of length in relation to weight not height, I would go anywhere int he 170 something band. The longer the ski the more stability you will have but the harder it will be to spin etc. Again a bit of a trade off. I would recommend going the short end.

Bindings are pretty much personal preference. Something like the Look PX12 (who freeze almost certainly stock) would do the trick nicely.

We dont have any local mountains in England, let alone London haha

Yes, Freeze have the AR6s on sale for about £240? and you can pick up Head (Tyrolia) Mojo 15 bindings for £84 also from them. Solid deal and IMO better than the threats (having skied neither).

Plus they look better, which is very important.

MOJO 15s are substantially more solid as long as you are running your dins at 5 or higher than 5, the range is 5-15.
