Pablo - sorry, geography was never my strong point.

But ... I thought Columbia was Canada and Colombia was South America - in fact we had an au pair from there once and I'm pretty sure she spoke Spanish and called it Colombia. Do other Colombians call it Columbia or what?

:DHi mfc,

Which resorts , countries and type of accommadation are you and you're friends looking for....and more importantly what price range per person?

If you are looking for catered chalets etc at good prices have a butchers at Ski Miquel, I have used them a few times and have been impressed by the service and prices , if on the other hand you are looking for self catering apartments etc there are some good properties on offer in the classifieds of the Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard mag.....you have plenty of time though.

Job permiting (hoping i still have one that is) i will be hoping to get away for Xmas or new year 2009,
next season ,mind you i have my end of season blast booked for Les Arcs at the end of April and can't wait :D :D

All the best

Jon.

I have been pitching the idea to anyone who will listen but no one seems to fancy it

Its taken nearly two years to get and teach my Son to cook since he bought his flat, I think he is doing quite well although he does have expensive tastes.
I'm a laydee

That is where I struggle too, I think I might need to get a job to fund my ridiculous eating/shopping/skiing

Pablo- my grandmother came from Glasgow, and I'm going up to Pitlochry in a few months for a family get together with my Scottish relatives.

So - your real name is probably Hamish, or Angus or something?

If you get good at cooking maybe you could be a chalet boy?

Well, the way the banks/stockmarket/housing market/pound/general business/jobs etc. is going, it will be a miracle if any of us get to ski next year. But I'm still going to dream about it.
