Please don't talk to me about North Face Jackets. My OH has just spent the last month deciding, changing his mind, deciding, changing his mind, trying on, buying & taking back, wearing with different layers, waving his arms about, posing in front of the full-length mirror ....... and has finally decided on The North Face Varius Insulated Guide Jacket. The colour choice posed another dilemma, but thankfully he has taken my advice on that! Obviously there have been hours of research on the internet to find the best possible price. Normally he hates buying clothes (or parting with his money) so this has been quite an ordeal for him
Thus far, it's kept him warm & dry on the local playing field when launching his home made water powered rockets (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eGq2AwXpWI)so I hope it performs equally well on the slopes! I'll be waring my £29.99 Tchibo jacket which has performed perfectly well for the last 3 seasons, although I'm not sure how well it would do in a prolonged period of pouring rain - but it won't rain, so that's OK :D
The North Face decagon jacket....
