Brucie.

My gf's work colleague has just left his job to work the season in Les Gets. He's holidayed there and absolutely loved it - was dying to go back on the strength of good skiing and great apres.

A decent enough endorsment?

and I once met a bloke in the pub who not only said he'd been in the SAS but that Les Gets wasn't too special and he'd actually invented skiing one lunchtime )

and I once met a bloke in the pub who not only said he'd been in the SAS but that Les Gets wasn't too special and he'd actually invented skiing one lunchtime )

Three things, anyone who claims to be in the SAS isn't, given that he's a liar why should we believe he knows anything about Les Gets? And he certainly didn't invent skiing in his lunchtime, I mean it would have taken until teatime at least.

Now Les on the other hand, he may have invented skiing, who knows? I'll certainly buy him a pint if he did.

very good points, I'll be much more careful about believing what people I don't know tell me in future :D although it's a bombshell that people might make stuff up of course, thank goodness that doesn't happen on the internet though :)
