I felt it as I was driving to school and again when I got out of class. Over in Ohio we have had a stressful growing season. VERY hot in June. Very wet in July and now back to alot of heat and humidity. Why is this important? The trees have started to change. I'm just chomping at the bit that those leaves start falling.
Uh oh, I think I broke'd the lift

However, about 3 minutes ago I got extremely excited because I've been informed by amazon that my "where to ski and board 2009" has been dispatched!!!!!!

The world can kiss goodbye to me for a while

I have been scanning the 2008 issue, borrowed from a friend, and my 2009 copy is also being despatched from Amazon as I write. Along with the new Verve album.

Everyone that has bought this book, why do you buy it? Is it ski porn? The resorts are in the same place as last year?

I don't understand the compulsion, can you explain please :D

Oh, I have read it over the years, but really don't understand why folks buy it year on year. Not much changes in the Alps, apart from the occasional lift being put in and glaciers always on the move.

Unless you know something I don't?

Nah..not likely

Hang on, I have only just ordered my first ever copy, the 2009 edition. I borrowed 2008 from a friend, and having seen it, I feel it is an essential addition to my library. It is not something I would renew year on year however.

You'd also be surprised what I know that you probably dont, so dont be so arrogant )
