Though it does seem a little at odds with his comment on another thread (http://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/24/3021.page) when he said:
"... but as much as I like to try and look good at all times, I dont understand why you would go somewhere JUST to look good. It kind of defeats the object of a ski holiday to me!"
No, sorry, you have lost me. I think the point you made it totally invalid as my point is that one tries to have some nice gear and therefore look as good as one can, but one doesnt go to great lenghts to go to places IN ORDER JUST TO LOOK GOOD.
One goes to places, looking as good as one can, for the reason to ski and ski as max as possible, as my learned friend Skidaddle has rightly pointed out.
I therefore assume that you will either withdraw your comment, or admit to provocation amongst fellow skiers, something which must be frowned upon by all and sundry.
I will not be payinh £230 for some bloody sallopettes, thanks AJ. And I did get some poles, but not the ones I was after. ISE has found them in Germany, but sadly a little too late.
Anyway, must dash, theres a new bar open in town tonight, and i have to do my hair and iron my shirt. I dont want a drink, I just want to be seen in the place.......
