I seem to recall having a wonderful pancake and hot chocolate in Cafe Schneider in the main street of Lech quite close to the cable car entrance. I think there is also a coffee stop and viewing platform (plus small museum) at the top of the cable car.

Thank you Jastem

Cafe Schneider sounds about right -)
Those cable car trips are pretty demanding!

Biki17 Hope you don't mind me adding a relevant query to your thread.

I'm staying in Zug in the last week of Feb with friends and we need to try and arrange some lessons. Can any of the contributors familiar with the area suggest a school or instructor we can arrange in advance please?

We'd be looking for 5 days for a group of 4-6 with a couple of weeks experience in resort and 2 days for 3-4 more advanced skiiers who've been skiing 10 years or so.

Thanks

I have never had lessons in Lech, but the Lech Tourist Information website should have the information you need. I don't think the lessons will actually be in Zug, but in Lech. The linking ski buses are very efficient though.

Hi Yadi

I can recommend the Lech Ski School - http://www.skischule-lech.com

One of the best instructors is a guy called Julio (Argentinian) - he is extremely well known in Lech and in great demand so try and book early.
