Oh no, another sock debate....
I travel with 6 pairs of ski socks, 1 for each day and a spare pair as well! I cannot imagine putting a pair back on after a hard days skiing and I really dont want to be arsed with washing on holiday!
As for this "I'm on holiday and spend what I want" mullarkey, I understand the principle, but I really cannot be paying 11 quid for a bowl of poxy soup. Hence choosing your resort being such an important issue.
Last time I had soup on a ski trip, last Feb, I paid 4,90 for a large goulash soup with a hunk of bread in Austria.
THATS the big difference when your on a ski holiday, the cost of eating out particularly on the slopes.
I'm not tight, I just dont like being fleeced.

Just finished 10€ bowl onion.soup again....no wonder my feet smell of onions
Anyway, boots ok now, took them down a black just now that had me gritting my teeth....then the j2 words came into my head
Relax, let the edges and the ski do the hard work. It works!!! It really does
