Oops.

Wrong again, on both counts.

I can see what you're trying to do there Tony - but citing Wikipedia as reliable proof of anything immediately removes any claim that you had to the intellectual high ground.....

I think wikipedia/windup should reveal most of the reactions on this post........

I'm lost as to what we are arguing about here?

Niederau is a cheap'n'cheerful entry level ski resort for the great unwashed.

It is not St. Anton but OK if you wanna learn to ski etc.

I think that sums it up?

I went last winter and I've been skiing for 20+ years, was a last minute job, didn't care that the skiing was limited, I got to ski. Everything is much cheaper than the bigger resorts, people are generally friendly, and I might even go back this winter.

That's my verdict in a nut shell.

Niederau is a cheap and cheerful entry level ski resort for anybody, whatever their personal hygiene habits :) I'll be taking my fourth trip there in January and love it. (May even take a bar of soap along with me this time !)

I'm with you on that one. It seems there is a very romantic connection for the brits to niederau, which is fine if you don't want to push yourself skiing. My 10 year old son described it as PANTS compared to saalbach or ischgl. It is what it is,a cheap learn to ski cosy resort which is family friendly and apres ski is on a very average level.I just wish more skiers would try other resorts that aren't in the glossy brochure. Give somewhere like Dorfgastein or Grossarl a try, plenty of runs godd lifts and prices for brits to make you smile, but don't go there for the apres ski.

Bon Ski

I didn't see anyone arguing about anything here. I did see someone suggesting some "factual" and the apparent "straightening of rhetoric", but definitely no argument.
