Well your not a beginner anymore, so you won't need beginner lessons.
You will end up in a group of the right level - When I had lessons in Soldeu we were assessed (at the start of the week)before they decided who went with who. :D

Yeppers...they do assessments first thing in the morning, where they get you to ski down a nursery slope a couple of times and then split you off into little (well, at least 10 others!) groups. If you find that the group is going too fast or slow, you can always move up or down,
The instruction in Soldeu is pretty good. This year, my 11 year old progressed from a timid blue run skiier to a gungho (and accomplished) red run skiier.

Of all the resorts I've skied, I think Soldeu is probably the most beginner friendly.

Hi sm4sh,
I was out in Soldeu two seasons ago. I really enjoyed it and thought the skiing area was pretty good, with excellent variety to suit most of our group, which ranged from beginners to reasonable skiers.
If you want to have a look, here are my photos from the trip on facebook.. Click Here :)
The only thing I did have a slight issue with, was that they still smoke in the bars :( Took me back to the bad old days. Otherwise I would be happy to go back.
