Wickers is definitely not your normal Brit abroad, let me tell you!
My experience of the French in ski resorts is unpleasant, but I also find a lot of Brits rude, bullish and downright condasending.
Anyway, back to the point, and the report on VT was good and most welcome. I wasnt intending to have a dig, just giving my viewpoint on when I went there, albeit 11 years ago.
Please keep the reports coming in, its useful to see what people make of different places.

No offence taken Tony - I too like to here what peeps make of other areas - I'm often guilty of looking at the piste map in brochures and instantly dismissing places as being too small and thus boring - hence I like 3valleys, Espace Killy etc

Surprises me, the only time I've found the French to be rude is right at the tail end of the season, when I just think a few have had enough of tourists.
I find the French fantastic hosts. Even when I offend them with my terrible French.
The rudest people I come across during a trip are usually immigration control coming back into the UK!
