In 1550 there are some of the most reasonable places to eat in the 3 Valleys. The Pizzeria "La Cortona" run by Fernand is great. Le Caveau for Savoyard specialities is super, L'oiel de Boeuf is good too - there are also very cheap places for a drink and it is always easy to get in unlike higher up the hill.

Ku De Ta restaurant on the side of the piste in 1850. If you go under the bridge it's immediately on your left.
Prices are reasonable and the portions huge. Their charcuterie was about 20 Euros I think, but easily enough for two to share, there was half a cow on the plate!

Their gourmet burgers are something else, though it's the place I've ever found a Manchester Burger!
