Why are you guys worried so about stars, in my humble opinion if you ignore it it normally goes away, the quicker Adders does away with the star system the better.... :twisted:

I don't think I've ever pretended to be stupid, just rather out of touch with the modern world, which is entirely accurate. I did wonder whether 'Marmite' might be another bit of incomprehensible modern lingo, like 'gay on a tray' :D

It was very kind of Bandit to take me at my word and explain it for me :D

And since this thread is supposed to be about a resort suitable for beginners and hikers, I would just mention that La Rosiere is supposed to be good for both (not that I was a beginner or a hiker when I visited it so I can't vouch for that personally).
