Vraiment? C'est incroyable! (Sorry just got back from my French lessons). There was an awful lot of publicity about how hard it was going to be, getting a ski holiday in half-term, because everyone was supposed to be off the same week.
In some ways I suppose it's better to stagger the holidays, the way the French do, but on the other hand it would be annoying if, say, you were a teacher over the border of a particular region and your kids got different holidays.
I'm not bothered about there being loads of French people about, it will mean there are more people I can practice my rubbish French on :twisted:
