I have only worn one layer under my ski jacket for many years 8)

Interesting, the stores have much much more stuff than this if you are prepared to look.

The best stuff I've found is the 'budget' range Spyder do - its very low key for them - all black. Picked up a top and 'leggings' for 55 quid, wheras all my other undergarments prior to this were twenty pounds max from TK Maxx, but the difference is notable both in warmth and that the cheapo stuff starts to pong a bit after plenty of wears and washes, definately worth the difference.
