Yeah anywhere where the snow is good, you can't make snowmen :D
Did you find it was extremely expensive? helsinki was but as its the capital i thought it might be abnormally hiked prices. (reindeer is awesome!!)

It was expensive, but I always knew it would be. But even more so with the euro being what it was. I was surprised how expensive reindeer was, considering it is their main sorce of meat. Alcohol was expensive but we are not huge drinkers so it did not matter. They had a lot of really nice ski clothes shops, but really pricey. I wanted a salamon beanie hat, 50 euros, I just could not bring myself to do it. The trips we did are also expensive but we certainly did the right thing pre-booking them all when we booked the holiday, much more expensive now. Hubby had bear one evening when we went out, that was 50 euros.
Thanks Tony it was certainly right for us, and I will tackle those reds, just have to go back next year and master it. Actually already booked. It was the quietness we loved.

Hey Rose, glad you had a good time. Sounds like the perfect place for you, despite those tricky reds! In time....
It looks kind of eerie, being half lit all the time. I bet its really quiet too.
As expensive as I had thought it would be.
Perfect place to go with kids I would imagine with all those activities. Not sure its a place I'd go to ski, but really pleased you loved it.
