No friends on a powder day, right?

I imagine we will be doing more cross country than any-thing else, especially as the tracks are straight from the cabin.
In Grimentz :
Hôtel Becs de Bosson, small B+B type thing
Hotel Alpina
Hotel Crystal
Zinal
Pointe de Zinal
Hôtel Europe
Besso
I really wouldn't bother though, there's a lamentable lack of facilities for advanced skiers, most of the mountain hasn't even got prepared runs :!: There's a whole side of the mountain here where they can't be bothered to prepare it and just claim it's a freeride area (whatever that is)
Thanks Ise, I'll look them up online. Not that I would want to go there of course, un-prepared runs, freeride area - Whats the world coming to?
I know that I posted this link http://vimeo.com/2492092 earlier in this thread but I've just got a chance to watch the whole movie (rather than just bits of it)
There is a very sobering and inspiring interview with Jean- Yves Michellod and lots more shots of his sitski about half way through the movie.
You can buy the dvd here http://www.guidoperrini.com/home.html Half of the profits go to http://www.parasport.ch/
And while I'm plugging Guido's films this is my favourite:
http://www.guidoperrini.com/showreels.html Play the 'winter action reel'

Now, assuming one wanted to visit the area where this movie was shot, which one obviously wouldn't due to factors mentioned above, what hotels would be recommended, hypothetically of course? )
