Just got back from Mayrhofen this afternoon and got a ton of things to do. Will be more precise later however have no fear theres plenty of snow on the pistes.Yes its forecast sunny for a while but very cold. Snow has cleared from the town but that is not unusual. More detail to follow!! Bags to unpack

Just to clarify my last note the Ahorn Abfahrt which is a good red which runs from the Ahorn down to the bottom back to the big gondolla at town level was open and I was skiing down it yesterday. Yes its got snow canons helping it and has a few icy patches and the pistes on it vary in consistancy but it was a good 'ride'. From what those in the know were saying when I left there was no more snow due in the immediate future howver it was forecast to be very cold so fear not and enjoy your trip.

I skied Mayrhofen today. There is tons of fantastic snow, and next dump forecast Sunday. Its bright sun and 0c at midday, so take your suncream and wear a thin top layer as insultated jackets are a no no.
