fully catered chalet?
We're in an appartment, food won't cost much more than £30, it's the drinking that's gonna cripple me!!

Was speaking to a frirnd in the travel trade the other day who said some of the biggies had slashed their capacity....don't know if it's true or whether she was just trying to get to me to book another holiday!
Hi - Have you been to Samoens before? We have booked for February (we are driving - I agree its seems a good option) but now I'm hearing mixed reports about it. Does anyone have any info? Cheers.

Last minute.com are supposed to be doing £99 ski deals at 10am today. I think it's their 10th Birthday as a company. Got to be worth a look :D

I have booked to Samoens in jan...but if I was to book for more than 2 I would consider driving ..the apartment is £400 for 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6)but the killer is the transfer (€140) from Geneva ...4 in a car should not cost more than £60 each return and that saves flights and transfers and only takes a day from the channel..by the way if you are an old f'''t like me (over 60) a lot of the French resorts offer a discount on the lifts

Samoens is great!
Been there 5 times in last 3 years and love it. Now I think I'd only do short breaks there as there are so many other places to go.
Can answer questions if you have any...feel free to ask.

I have skied the area, staying in Morrillon (sp?) close by. Samoens is very pretty. There is a new (ish) gondola giving access to the extensive skiing. I would go back
