It was all done and then Lee calls me to say she's going to drop off her vids and photos this weekend so I'll be back to the editing board again. Perhaps it will be on your doorstep by the time yet get back from Sauze.Tony_H wrote:Very good Keef.

I probably can't win there, OK it's ultra-hardcore, super steep on dangerously exposed slopes :D

Good man.
I am sure there are going to be some mental moments next week. I will try and capture some of them to share with you all. I have a feeling a certain Mr Dowling will be involved in most of them!!!!

Best tour so far : Val d’Rechy - La Brinta - Orxival - St Jean
I love that photo' as we're all laughing, David was offering chocolate which we all initially declined as we were eating our own until he pointed out it was chocolate liqueur :D It was also the first time the four of us, all based in Zinal, had teamed up for a tour and I was able to take them into two nearby valleys they'd not been to before, find untracked powder in a holiday week and a line that finished at a bus stop outside a bar, it was just a great, great day.
For a good run, Dam powder and old photo's , me skiing on the first and Mike on the second. It's a trade route, everyone that comes here "has" to ski it so first tracks in powder on a Feb' day is fairly special :D

I had two:
My first drop. A little 10 footer which felt like a 100 footer. Scary and fun at the same time.
A super fast cruiser that took me from virtually the top of Les Arcs right down to 1600. It was special for no reason other than it was a nice, fast, non-stop cruiser with a clear sky, lovely snow and hardly anyone on the piste. Amazing how relaxed you can feel going at fast speeds. Reminded me of why I love the sport so much.

My seasons'best moment so far, was making it down to the Moiry Barrage in January. It's between Zinal and Grimentz, and it's really the 1st bit of proper off piste I've done. It was breakable crust, with some rocks to negotiate at the start! I fell over lots, and was very tired when I reached Grimentz.
If you click on the 2nd photo, it will enlarge, and if you look closely you can see some folks coming across the top of the barrage. That really gives a good idea of the scale...big :D
I want to go back and ski it again, and fall over less :D
I know ise skis it a lot, and thinks everyone does it, but that's not accurate, as my OH declined to even try!
