I think we've seen some of the paraphernalia from his workshop :D
Thats weird, thats exactly how I see it. But with Pavel dressed like a Buddah in a kind of temple, and people making pilgrimages from the 4 corners of the earth to hear his words of wisdom.
I somehow imagined it to be in the Himalayas too.

I picture Pavel's home as a Zen retreat on top of a mountain (with lots of skis paraphernalia).
Ski disciples trekking up the mountain in search of enlightenment.

Question for a newbie on the mountain for the first time, what should I take? goggles or ski glasses? Will my arnette sun glasses have any use there?

Get yourself a fairly cheap pair of orange lensed goggles, spend around £20 in TK Maxx and you'll get Bolle or North Face, and some wrap round sunglasses for about the same price. If its cold or dark, you will need the goggles, but if its sunny you will need the glasses.
I got some really smart North Face glasses in TK last year for under £20.
