Thanks Bandit.

I'll take whatever I can get. Two weeks and I'm there. The resort looks great. I'm checking everywhere for first hand. Not much so far. Snow and R & R is what I'm longing for.

I'll post when I get back.

I've skied Deer Valley a few times. It is a great experience, but may be a little too civilised for some. On the snowboard issue, if you you have kids who want to board, Deer Valley run buses down the road to Park City Mountain Resort for that purpose. They even have their own snowboard instructors, who go with the kids to PCMR.

The good thing is that both PCMR and the Canyons have great less civilised, but avalanche controlled terrrain to challenge most people, and are a ten minute, free bus ride away.

Deer Valley is my favorite resort in Park City. The resort opened some more advanced terrain in 2008 with the addition of the Lady Morgan Express lift. This lift provides access to the Lady Morgan Bowl and opens up additional advanced terrain beside the Empire Bowl. I like Deer Valley because of the fantastic on mountain food and the service. There are also many great restaurants in very close proximity to the resort. Best Deer Valley Restaurants is a blog article I found about Deer Valley area restaurants and it's pretty accurate. I think they should have rated Bistro Toujours a little higher but hey, everyone's got an opinion.
