Braces are a massive no no. Not only do they look ridiculous, they are uncomfortable. Worse still are bib and brace style pants. How to look like a toddler!!!!

I've found I need a belt with my ski pants and use a material belt that came with a pair of cargo shorts from Republic I think it was. I guess this is what was referred to as the boarder look? However you don't have to have a bit dangling down if you spin the belt round and make use of the belt loops on your pants.

As for comfort, I disagree. I wore a belt the year before last, and it was either too tight, or I ended up looking like a 12 year old with his trousers hanging of his a*se.

Not at all, but it seem interesting that you are conscious of a pair of braces, that spend most of their time under a coat, yet wear bright yellow trousers.
