Paul

I'll be very interested in your Soelden observations. Off there on January 4!

Just had a look on www.auhof.co.uk/webcam.asp to check out what last nights weather brought, looks like a small dusting of snowfall down to about 1400m, just hope it stays nice and cold out there for it to make a good base and then let it snow after that - will be doing my snow dancing as i did last year again. Hope the snow Gods are on our side again!!
See you on the piste!!!

Been there before. It's absolutely brill. Very lively and the skiing is top notch. It,s so snow sure they have FIS racing starting there next weekend. It will however be very cold when you go as most of the good runs are up above 2500m,however you won't be worrying about snow conditions. There's a leisure centre in town with a pool, sauna etc if your legs are feeling it or you have non skiers in your group.

Have a good one.
Paul

Thanks; I think the World Cup races are this weekend! Just looked at webcams - fair bit of snow overnight and this morning (which is nice!)

No non-skiers in my group, by the way!

Yeah, been about 15/ 16 times before now, my hotel has a steam room, sauna and infra-red massage thing aswell as a whirlpool ( just like a big bath with bubble jets though!)

Looking forward to it though and happy to be going again! Where is everyone staying?
See you on the piste!!!

The auhof pension/b&b is for sale by the the way if you have about
1,000,000 euros.

Lota re.your transfer from innsbruck. I had the same problem,so we have decided on cheap sleazyjey flight luton - zurich and car hire
for the transfer, not what i really wanted but it was more seamless the trains planes and aotomobiles from innsbruck.

Paul: have booked the Otztal shuttle (which should be easy!) and the shuttle/train/bus via Otz railway station as a back-up.
