Jeez, i hadn't considered that I may be such.
Thanks ally for the kind words, 'carve' them on my gravestone as I'm off to self harm.

The great thing about skiing and working, is that once you are out on the slopes, you are in "survival mode", so, unlike summer hols, work remains the last thing on your mind. No such thing as failure when in the mountains!

Don't do that Snapzzz - it would be a shocking waste of a perfectly good lift pass

Thanks Dave Mac for the explanation.

John - it seems a little early for snow here in the U.K.

Still wondering if I should bring forward the fitting of my winter wheels. Was not planning on fitting them till nearer the end of November.

On a brighter note, the Ski Season is finally underway, and so far no failures :D I was expecting a lot of "DNF's" due to the new ski regs, but they have all got down so far.

Forecast - wet, frost, ice in places, below average temperatures for November......
Where I live (country) loads of mud on roads due to farm traffic = really dodgy when wet or frosty.

Get the winters on!

I'll second that OldAndy, I was heading out pike fishing this morning but the sound of hail hammering down on the conservatory roof has put me off!
Those Bawburgh pike will have to wait!
