You say you have been to Bulgaria so anywhere else even Austria should be a vast improvement.
My suggestion would be pick a country you would like to visit post it on here and watch the replys roll in.

It sounds to me as if the two issues are something for teenagers and a way for Mum to enjoy some skiing company?
Maybe a British run chalet hotel would be a good answer? One with good guiding for Mum and, at Easter, an increased likelihood of other kids of similar ages both for on piste and off piste fun (apres ski rather than hairy skiing!).
The last time my Lout came skiing with me (16yo at the time) we had a very sucessful trip where he found some fun with other teenagers and the young hotel staff and I skied with some other adults some of the time. This was with Ski Total in Courchevel, but the guiding was only on a couple of days.
Last year I went with Mark Warner on my own and the guiding was of really great quality - every day and several groups of different ability. The key is checking out how many days guiding is available. Some places offer little more than a quick whizz around the area while others offer a more comprehensive service. Similarly with choice of country. Austria, for example, has restrictions on how many days per week guiding can be offered.
At Easter this could be costly as it is peak holiday period and being the end of the season the best snow will be in the higher resorts.
If you are OK sharing a room with your tribe this could drastically reduce the cost, or on the other hand, it may be that the budget is quite high?
With a big chalet hotel there is also an increased likelihood that you will find other like minded adults to hang around with on and off the slopes as well as the kids teeming up with others - all adding to the chance of a great holiday for all.
You are right to be looking now as the best rooms etc will get booked up early for the Easter holiday period.
