I think you deserve a *Hug* after I grilled you about Wales.

Pablo,
I'm sorry the subject of how to get to Scotland has been done to death already. Perhaps you could tell me, which would be the best way for me to get there and go ski-ing at one of the resorts, from here? I mean, really, I want to know.

That wasnt a grilling. I have worked for companies in Merthyr and Blackwood; people there gave me a hard time about being English. You get used to giving it back and then some.

Scotland - easy. Get to the M6 and turn left. Find somewhere cheap near Glasgow to stop, north side, and if and when the weather is good enough drive up towards Fort William and bobs your uncle.
Pabs will meet you at Loch Lomond on the way.....

Tony,
I'm sorry some Welsh people were horrid to you. I apologize on behalf of all Welsh people, and those of us who are not Welsh but who live in Wales.

I am thinking about going to Scotland, but it does seem a bit difficult if no-one knows when the snow is going to be good. I mean, I would have to book a B&B ahead of time, as I expect that when the snow does come, they're all booked up.

I have some friends and family who live in Scotland, so maybe I should try scrounging somewhere to stay instead.

It would be a very good chance for some Tom Tom practise, but it would take me 2 days to get up there because I would have to do all the driving.

OH MY GOD

Scotland (3) 9
Pens: Godman 2 Drop-goals: Paterson

Australia (3) 8
Try: Cross Pens: Giteau

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scotland's brilliant defence left the normally lethal Australians impotent
Scotland ended a 16-match losing run against Australia as an awesome defensive performance set up victory over the Wallabies at Murrayfield.

Australia dominated territory and possession but it was 3-3 at the break as Scotland fly-half Phil Godman cancelled out a Matt Giteau penalty.

A Godman penalty and Chris Paterson drop-goal saw Scotland edge ahead.

And although Ryan Cross went over for an injury-time try, Giteau's missed conversion handed the Scots victory.
