Barney, can i ask you why you bought that?

Personally i don't see any use for it in skiing as it only extends to 43cm. I struggle to get a full shot on my ski poles which are 115cm.
Also, how can you hold three poles?

I dont know anything about this subject, but he says he has bought the mount. Is that a 3rd pole :roll:

Yes, this is it.....I can see it being an option for boarders or surfers but not really for the skier.

Ah right. I thought he meant it would be something that bolts on the end of the pole.

I've bought the extra long pole version - 95cm long (from dogcam) + the tripod mount. Should just about be long enough. It collapses down to 30cm so will fit in a backpack.

Shouldn't be too tricky to hold both ski poles in one hand whilst using it. And the kids want to be able to have a go as well and it just wouldn't work if attached to one of my ski poles. My eldest is a boarder.

There is some method in my madness. I'm not a complete numpty. :(

I simply meant i will never let you forget it should you put a musical soundtrack to your vids.
