Bad. Jobs safe but incentives have been cancelled which probably equates to a 50% pay cut in my case. Gutted.
Fortunately Les Arcs is all paid up so no worries there and La Clusaz in feb is affordable but i have to consider whether its frivolous......sad day

No not at all business is booming.
I work as a service tech fixing faults etc which pays ok but we were also allowed to promote and sell products for a commission. I excel at that.....or did. Those incentives have been stopped as our supply chain (set top boxes etc) cannot meet demand and we need to ensure new customers are not deterred by long lead times.
As my basic wage was at least doubled by my 'extras' i am very hard hit.

Hi Snapzzz,
That's awful! And how stupid, to stop you selling systems because they haven't got enough set top boxes

As Old Andy says, I hope they get this situation sorted rapidly and service (and your wages) return to normal.

At least you have one ski holiday already paid for :D

Just found out that there are major changes at work which will hit us hard in the pocket. Looks like skiing will be suffering

Bad day, but on the bright side you still have a job and you've paid for your first trip.

Don't be sad x

DILEMMA

I have invited my mum/dad & woman round for xmas this year. They have all accepted and we are all looking forward to it.

My brother phoned me

"would you like to come to Morzine at Christmas with mum and dad and we have a full family xmas?"

Oh no, what do I do?

Let the woman down (she is not invited as he does not know she exists)?

Accept and go skiing with the woman jan/feb/mar next year?

Answers on a postcard
