That stuff is vile.... my hubby inadvertently spat it over a few kids in the irish bar a couple of years ago, following a karaoke number - that was his prize (must have been really bad singing) )

And awfully bad breath, for at least two days!
One of my best pals lives in Oberau, and every time I visit there is a most solemn ceremony, where the 80 Euros a bottle Krautinger is reverently poured. And equally revererently tipped into the plantpot, when mine host is not looking!

yes, 'each to their own' etc etc but this is now boooooring. i've been to N for 22 years this season, summer and winter, worked and lived there, qualified as an instructor there, had happy times and frustrating times with v v poor snow, but you can ski the wildschonau for a days on end still not cover it all. i'll be there feb 19th and am looking forward to it once again ... drop it, tony h, eh?
Hilarious!
Let me tell you whats "booooooring", constant threads about Niederau being started.
Fact.

Tony, still got that chip on your shoulder I see! If you didn't have it then you may realise that the quantity of N posts is not the problem. It's the lack of posts concerning other (inferior) resorts that's the issue!
No chip, I just didn't enjoy the place. Perhaps you can post something about some inferior resorts to give us some balance then?

Yeah sure, I haven't skied that extensively but have been to the following resorts....

Bad Kleinkircheim - village a bit too spread out for our liking and not a lot of easy / intermediate slopes.

Borovets - Cheap but when we went the year before last there was no snow. I don't dislike it as much as other peple do but it does have too many negative things to make a return visit viable.

Les Coches (La Plagne) - Awesome ski area (Paradiski) but prices were horrific (€15 for a Spaghetti Bolognese and €6 for a beer).
