I have just read about the new Skiset slippers available to buy, does anyone have any experience of these as a newish product as I was looking to have new boots fitted but these obviously seem a cheaper way of doing it.

By Slippers, do you mean their new Liners? If so, I've had hold of a pair, and they seem a pretty sturdy liner which you transfer from boot to boot. Liners do wear out though, and you would need to have pretty regular feet that would slip straight into a standard pair of boot shells, without any stretching, padding etc.
I'm yet to be convinced that it will be cheaper than owning a pair of your own boots, but for confirmed renters, it's going to be way better than slipping your feet into liners shaped by lots of different pairs of feet.
