Finlays has ceased trading. They had been taking folks skiing for many years.

After 28 years of operation Finlays Skiing Holidays has ceased trading. Two factors have largely been the cause - the economic situation over the past two years plus the exchange rate Sterling to Euro.

We would like to thank all guests for their loyal support over the years.

Tis a sad day, they have been around for a hell of a long time, I wonder if there will be a few companies to follow.

I had never heard of them. Assume they had a good rep?

I have to say I have never heard of them either.
I do know many travel companies are struggling what with the euro rates and the economic downturn, and especially after the recent volcano incident. Unfortunately, I fear we may see the demise of more operators, in particular the more bespoke smaller operations, along with several airlines who have been on the brink for some time.
