Hi, when you are travelling to Kaprun, you will be at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, It has 138 kilometres of pistes, of which 22 are blue or green, 16 are red and the remaining three are black. This I believe should suit every member of you family.
Hope it helps

Hi,
Went last new year and if you go up the glacier there are some wide runs right at the top serviced by drag lifts.
if you want some gentle stuff use the runs near the town centre (Maiskogel) as some of the runs on the glacier are a little narrow / steep for beginners and very busy.
You can always get the free ski bus to Zell-am-see for more wider runs (10 mins by bus)

Cracking skiing in Kaprun for all abilities 3 different areas all covered by free ski bus, good off piste up at the glacier, and good night life in town, cheapest ski hire is Europsport a small company when they see you pass the shop you are called in for a free drink or two every day.
www  I USED TO BE VERY INDECISIVE BUT I`M NOT TO SURE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Usually do an early pre-season trip to Kaprun and then catch another day there when I do a week in Zell am See later in the season. Both are great places and I couldn't imagaine a year when i didn't try and get there.
