Welcome to J2ski 8) I think the snow conditions will be just fine. Read a Tweet in the last 5 minutes from a ski school over there, apparently it's been trying to snow all day. Snow is forecast, there is plenty on the hill. Avalanche risk currently at 2, but that may rise with the snowfall due.

Apres ski, no idea, sorry

Verbier. Apres ski. The 2 were made for each other.
Its banging from about 4pm onwards in town.
Get yourself to the Carlsberg Bar on the Attelas run and wear some swimming trunks under your gear so you can dip into the outdoor hot tubs at the bar.
There are bars everywhere in town. Mont Fort is round the back of the Medran lift and is popular, esp on sunny evenings outside on the tables. Happy hour early on too.
Apart from that, its a case of fill your boots.
There are a few places where the apres is quite literally mad, OTT in my opinion, but there are plenty of people with money to burn and hair to let down over there.
I tended to have a couple of beers off the slopes and go back to the chalet, not into a banging one all night any more.

I can guarantee you 2 things however:
- a hangover every morning
- an empty wallet to go with it

It is ****ing expensive, especially later on at night, and in the more trendy bars in particular.

Have fun, its a brilliant place to ski.

My deepest sympathy. I like to have 3 weeks a year, but I bet I spend as much in those 3 weeks as many who have just the 1 in places like Verbier...!

Anyway, enjoy. If you want any tips on the ski area, drop me a PM.
