Just back from my first ever Ski trip to Arinsal. Loved every minute even tho i am soooo exhausted now.

Anyway i thought i may share one of my more thrilling lessons with you all.

WIND!!!!

Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens

The mountain looks great! Apart from the wind! We go to Arinsal a week on saturday and can't wait! I had my first ski holiday there last year so we're raring to go! Who was your instructor was it Yonni?

Alternatively, ski off and stop where the wind doesn't get you like that. Or call the instructor names for stopping there.

Good idea! The stop start bit of ski school can be a pain without the wind. Hopefully my feet will be more comfortable this year as i have my own boots now. Every time i stopped on the slopes last year my toes went tingly and hurt. ouch painful memories!

Snapzzz is that just a regular camcorder you're using to film that or a headcam/sportscam?
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

Hi, the cam was a Muvi by Veho. It is a tiny cam that you can clip places or use elastic to wrap around you head. They are pretty cool and only £50. They are smaller than your thumb.
