Hi All - I've left this a bit late for various reasons, but does anyone have any tips or current road reports on the route from Lyon -> Grenoble -> L2A? there will be a convoy of us from the airport and I just wondererd if I was being too dismissive of the trip. It is mostly Motorway and it looks to be quite easy on the first part, then once we hit the alpes I think it will slow down, but be quite easy as well.

Should we beware of any parts of the route,or are current conditions a bit dodgy ? any tips greatly recieved :)

The mountains in that region were on high alert today. The Col du Lauteret (nearby, not on your route) was reported as closed to traffic with an avvy warning of 5/5. Allow extra time, and have some supplies in the car in case you get delayed on the road.
From memory, it's a single carriageway main road from the outskirts of Grenoble onwards.
