Hi there is a list of ski schools on the attached link, http://www.austria-holiday-apartment.com/location.php
along with links to ski schools in Kaprun.
There is a nursery slope in Kaprun, but most of the ski instructors will take you up the mountain, to find a easy bit to start you off skiing. Enjoy

Hi
We have been to Kaprun for the last two years and had a great time. The snow was good and lots of different runs. My husband and 2 older sons are good skiers while I am a little more cautious!! We found the www.skischool-kaprun.at excellent for lessons we used them both years and found that their instructors were excellent each year. They have classes for all levels and will move you, if you wish, should you be in a class too advanced or easy. The nursery slopes are behind the Taurenhof Hotel and all groups meet there. They brought us to Zell am See one day to ski this was lovely with long comfortable runs. I wish you a lovely time in Kaprun we have great memories. This year we are going to Bad Hofgastein just to try something different for the lads but would return to Kaprun again. We found that they will advise you on the passes too.

Try the Spas at Bad Gastein and Hofgastein they are both superb especially after a hard days skiing. A new Spa opens in Kaprun in December 2010 called Tauern Spa World Kaprun, so it might be worth going back for then?
