The longest running chalet operator in Sainte Foy. Chalet Number One is a beautifully renovated genuine Savoyard farmhouse within 15 minutes drive of the following resorts: Sainte Foy (6km - free shuttle bus from the Chalet), Val'd'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs(5km) and La Rosiere.

Situated in the farming hamlet of La Masure, Chalet Number One offers an unique insight into the true French Alpine lifestyle, so far removed from the purpose-built resorts with their 'industrial skiing' and and package holiday crowds.

Daily Mail Ski Magazine says "Chalet Number One is rustically situated, fantastically comfortable, serves great food, and has perfect hosts" Chalet Number One offers partcularly spacious, comfortable, and homely accommodation.

We have a gorgeous warm and comfortable lounge with plenty of squashy sofas, and a roaring log fire - the perfect place to relax with a mug of tea and a slice of freshly-baked cake after a hard day on the slopes! Our food always gets rave reviews, and we are very happy to cater for vegetarians or other special diets. The chalet is the oldest building in the village, and dates back to at least 1668. The original wood-lined walls are still in situ!
