Hi,can anyone tell me anything about resort Montgenevre in France. We are looking to book our 3rd ski hol. 1st yr Romania, 2nd yr Austria. I will go back to beginners class to improve confidence, husband has made much better progress and will go intermediate. things like ski conditions, best time to go, cost or anything else you might know. although i am making slow progress i absolutely love it, we try to go to the chill factor in Manchester whenenver we can. cant wait to make a hol. booking. thanks everyone.

I've had 2 day trips to MontG from Sauze and its a nice ski area, with beginner greens and blues at the front of the resort. Head over the back bowl and theres some good reds and links over to Italy too. Its not massive, but for skiers of your level its a good place to go. Its a reasonable little place with a few bars on the main road but its certainly not a banging place.

thanks for that, will certainly consider it, will probably suit us. thinking of going in March or, whether to go back to where we went last yr. Niederau where we had fab time. Because our skiiing time is probably limited we should really try diffent places.

just been reading about organising your own trip and what Neneziss has booked sounds really good and at a price that appeals. we have always booked with trav. agent. How easy is it to pull everything together including flights, accom. ski school and ski hire. is it best left to experienced skiers or can green beginners pull it off. thanks.

thanks for that. can i take it that transfers can be the killer to what might otherwise be a good deal.

Is the lethal drag lift on the Chalvet side still in use or have they finally done something about it?
