Hi,

I am finding it incredibly difficult to find a 3 or 4 night ski holiday in Switzerland (or France)

I am look for;

1. Fly in to Geneva
2. 3 or 4 nights accomodation
3. Ski resort in easy transfer by bus or train of Geneva airport in either France or Switzerland
4. Hotel or chalet
5. 3 star minimum
6. Any board basis
7. Cheap

Any suggestions

James

Welcome to J2ski :D Zermatt is usually good for short stays, many of the hotels are geared up for tourists (not skiers) who are travelling round Switzerland by train. Try an email enquiry to the Tourist Office in Zermatt. I've had good experiences with them.

Try Snowcoach they either do short breaks or you can book their catered hotels by the night. St Gervais nr to Geneva.

I looked but did not see a time of year, it will be a lot easier to find accommodation for a few days outside of peak times.

I have over the last few years booked four/five night ski breaks in March , all I have done is check for flights does it have to be Geneva? , Basle Berne and Zurich are good ski airports.
I then just search by resort for hotels, I traveled to Adelboden last year via Basle and had no problems booking a hotel for four nights, depending where you decide to go some hotels will not
accept a part week booking and will only accept bookings a couple of weeks before. Good luck 8)
