pls help - volkl mantra ski length

Pls can you help? I'm thinking of buying some Volkl Mantra skis as I want a more off piste freeride ski rather than a piste ski that can also go off piste

I'm 170cm tall and 69kg and not sure what length ski is right - 170 or 177? I can ski everything on piste aggressively and want to do the same off piste where i'm intermediate - i can get down anything without drop offs - but it's not pretty.

Bizarrely the 177s measure 174 floor to tip and I've not yet seen the 170 so don't know if that is shorter yet. Any advice you'd give?

Welcome to J2ski :D The Mantra is a twin tip, so it will measure shorter on the snow. You could ski either length, though at your weight and skill level, you might find the 177 tough going as it will need your input (no park and ride options) if you want the ski to work for you.

Try both before you buy :thumbup:
