Hey guys,

any recommendations on hotels and transportation companies that can take me and my family to and from Whistler? (coming in from the airport)

Hi Jim,

There are regular buses from Vancouver airport up to Whistler. If you google the airport, you should find some detail. Seem to recall it was a couple of hours journ.

There is an alternative. You can go airport info desk, and order a driver and SUV, the cost not much more than the bus, and you get reclining seats, with driver commentary.

Hi Jim,

its been almost 7 years since I visited this lovely place. It was Greyhound Coaches which took you there and it took a couple of hours. It should be quicker to get to Whistler now though due to all the work done on the sea to sky highway for the winter olympics. I think you can also get there by helicopter but not 100% on that. We stayed at Pacific Pallisades hotel in downtown Vancouver and the Best Western Listel in Whistler, both were very nice but I think most the hotels are very good anyway.
