And also whether its more important what colour they are, how much they weigh, or what they are made of. I assume you know what length you need?
Joaquín, when I snapped my stick, it wasn't by falling, it was trying to jab them into Glenshee deep ice. :twisted:
And, minimad, as Bandit says aluminium does not rust. You are forgiven, cos trusty, rusty, yeah, well.
Oh, and, just before you go where?
Kryptonite poles are very bad. Think that Dane could have caused some damage ? A fainting Superman could have been a lot worse.

Just before i go i thought i might fire in another topic what ski poles should i get to match my salomon spk skis? I have had the good old trustie (and now rustie) scotts for 8 years now any reconmendations on ski poles?

Buy some more Scotts, they are a reliable brand and will take the knocks )
Er.....Scott Poles are made from an alloy.....rust is for steel I think?????

I have snapped a couple of pairs of (Scott) poles, buy cheap the when you snap them you won't be too disappointed. Or buy Carbon. Or don't fall, simple!

My Scott pole that got broken was broken by a Dane who came within inches of smashing my leg in half at around 50kmh on a busy slope in Mayrhofen. It could have been made of kryptonite and it still would have been broken by the idiot that was way out of control.
