RE:SNOW FORECASTS/EARLY BOOKING 20009/10 SEASON .

Having recently chatted with someone booking a ski hol for Jan 2010,the thought occured about historic weather conditions.With this season being the best in 25 years in the Alps,I checked with a U.S based Meteorological web site for patterns of snow depths over the past 100 years.Worryingly,records show winters to be warmer than usual after such seasons as this one past and snow depths/bases less than normal.With this in mind,is booking early a sensible thing regardless of school holidays etc,as I know from personal experience how hit and miss it can be in mid December to New Year?So where is,if anywhere,snow sure early doors?
