Everyone should note: BUY NOTHING OFF SCANSPORTS.
I ordered a pair of skis from Scansports,(or should I say ScamSports) after 10 days of trying to contact them, 01260 253667, I am now going to contact my credit card company to get a refund.
Ther is absolutley no way of contacting them and getting a response. Dozens of eamils and even more attempts at telephone calls get you knowehere.

Pass the word around, keep clear of Scan Sports and Baker Makintosh Ltd companies.

Welcome to the forum, these people are well known here as it has been talked about a lot, I don't know if it is worth giving the local trading standards an email as these people should not be getting away with this, as least you paid on credit card so you can get your money back,

I posted a similar warning a few months back, it seems a number of people have been caught out by them. Not quite sure whats going on, but it seems that they take payments and then do nothing until you chase them. If you can be bothered to follow it through, they will email you to tell you the item is out of stock and make a full refund. However, I wonder how many people simply dont bother or give up.

This company are a total disgrace and should be stopped from trading.

Got my refund, after dozens of emails and telephone calls.
The way to get a result is to contact the local police, Macclesfield, and report them. You get an incident report number, email this to Scansports and tell them what you have done, and hey presto respose within 2 hours appologising for the mix up and confirming the refund. 2 days later refund received.

If more people complain and take the time to go through the proper authorities, trading standards and police etc, then maybe we can bring down the crap companies who rip us off!! Power to the people (as Foxy used to say)
