Hi All,

I'm heading to tignes towards the end of March and have been looking to get some gloves, I dont want to spend a fortune, but want something decent.

I really want something that is going to be warm and dry, a storage zip in the glove would be preferable but I am not that fussy. I will just be using them for general snowboard use as I am just a novice-intermediate border.

I have been looking a fair bit into the Dakine range, two types of gloves I have my eye on are the Dakine Bronco and the Dakine Titan. I am leaing towards the Titan but have a bit of a question mark on the removable lining, heard gloves that have a removable lining arent that good.

So if anyone has an opinion on either of those gloves or something else I should consider then please feel free to write back.

Thanks

I love the look of the broncos. I wouldn't buy gloves without trying them on though. As long as they tick the right boxes, insulation wise, etc, go for the one that feels the best.

I am guessing being waterproof is the minimum requirement especially for a boarder. Can't help you out with your specific gloves but I have had a few pairs of Hestra gloves now and would never use anything else. Brand loyalty and all that. I have the Army Leather Short XCR and they are excellent. Probably a little more than you want to spend though.

Pablo,

Lost my Hestra XCR gloves in Jan. Great gloves - breathability means they don't hold on to sweat so when things cool down, you don't freeze. Would go for anything (almost)with Gortex XCR.

I'm a Hestra's fan also. I use the Army Leather Gauntlet, c/w idiot strings )

Wish I'd had the idiot strings but me, being an idiot, would have lost them too
